As you can see in the main page I have included two other options into the website’s sidebar including booking for flight, hotel and car rentals and also a section for daily deals provided by Groupon.

Even though this site is dedicated to listing provided by individuals, sometimes there is no option available for housing or car rental in a city from individuals, so having the options from different companies makes it easier for users to find what they want right from this page. The good thing about these booking services is that they search multiple service providers and gives you the best options available in terms of price or popularity. I added groupon as it is a way that people can save money and I am negotiating with other daily deal providers like wagjag, kijiji-deals, redflagdeals and teamsave to include their daily deals as well.

Last month we were in Alberta and we booked two B&B for our visit to Calgary and Jasper. It feels so homey when we went to these houses as the owners welcomed us like their friends and you feel like being home after a long drive! Needless to say the benefits of having a good conversation with the owner about the city and places to visit and best directions.So I decided to dedicate a special section in adoneed for B&B as one of the problem in finding them was going through multiple websites, finding the location of these B&B on google map to make sure they are within our favorable location, copying the owners email address and sending them a letter one by one. I think I have sent more than 100 emails to B&B in Alberta and we couldn’t find any available B&B for Jasper and ended up staying at a hotel.
So if you are active in B&B, adoneed is for you to post your available rooms. Also if you do have a spare bed room that you are comfortable for renting it out or you have a bedroom just for your guest that occasionally visit you, then why don’t you make money by renting it out to travelers and visitors who are interested to B&B like me and my family?

From 2007 I had the idea of setting up like this that both individuals and companies can offer what they have for rent. It not only provided a source of income from what you already have in your house, but also gives a chance to those who just want to try or use an item for a short period of time. It also helps those individuals who are living in small apartments to rent an item for the amount of time they need it and keep the valuable space in their small apartment for other important items.

In the long run, it also helps to save the planet by sharing what we have rather than producing different items that most of the time end up sitting in your storage. I am sure big companies hate me as it might reduce their valuable customers!
